Our US practice (Asserson Hiller) offers the same Asserson values and service quality while focussing on international and multi-jurisdiction disputes involving litigation in the US state and federal courts. Our lawyers’ experience practising in both the US and the English courts leaves us uniquely positioned to help clients with the strategic complexities which often arise in connection with multi-jurisdictional disputes and cross-border litigation. Our offices in New York, London and Tel Aviv allow us to offer clients inside and outside the United States local advisors who can meet with them locally to talk through options and process. We are also particularly positioned to undertake US litigations with multinational corporations and parties located in Europe and Israel.
Yisrael Hiller leads our US work. He is a dual-qualified (US-UK) lawyer with significant experience advising clients in connection with multi-national commercial litigation in the US, UK and around the globe. His track record includes a range of high value and high profile disputes including litigation related to the September 11 attacks, the Enron insolvency, the BP Oil Spill and the largest ever privately-owned collection of Greek and Roman antiquities.
Allison Khaskelis, who works in the US group, is an attorney admitted in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is part of the Dispute Resolution team. She has substantial experience representing international, national and regional corporations and high net-worth individuals in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, involving contract disputes, regulatory investigations, franchise litigation, employment law, products liability, commercial real estate and shareholder derivative suits.
Natasha Pereira, who also works in the US group, has focused her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on government enforcement, international investigations, and white collar matters. She has represented corporations subject to regulatory enforcement actions and government investigations. Her litigation experience also includes design patent infringement, trusts and estates, financial services, and securities.
Our advice routinely involves multi-national parties, cross-border enforcement and discovery issues, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory tension. Our location and experience allows us to work for and with our clients to identify creative and cost-effective strategies to resolve disputes efficiently, and we are consistently successful.
