Natasha Pereira Shiman
Natasha joined Asserson in 2021 and is an associate in the Dispute Resolution team. She has represented corporations subject to regulatory enforcement actions and government investigations.
Natasha specialises in commercial litigation disputes as well as investigations, enforcement, and white-collar matters. Her clients include companies and high-net worth individuals. Her litigation experience also includes design patent infringement, trusts and estates, financial services, and securities.
Recent Experience
Natasha has defended a design and manufacturer company against multi-million-dollar design patent infringement claim. She investigated and represented a global oil & gas company in response to investigative demands by U.S. Department of Justice, FBI, and U.S. Securities Exchange Commission.
She represented a publicly traded biomedical company against the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission subpoena and investigatived demands by FINRA, as well as representing numerous noteholders in a multi-million-dollar litigation regarding the non-conversion of notes.
Recently, she acted for high-end vehicle financing company in several trials collectively seeking over £3 million in damages.
Education
Natasha holds a Bachelor of Arts from the American University (May 2011) and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law (May 2018).
Natasha lives in Ganei Tivka and enjoys taking spontaneous day trips around Israel.
