Happy 10th anniversary to the Asserson Planning department!

On May 1st 2011, Daniel Drukarz, after heading up the market-leading London Planning team at Pinsent Masons, joined Asserson Law Offices to lead his own Planning practice, as part of our boutique set of services.

At the forefront of the industry, Danny has been one of UK’s leading planning lawyers for over two decades, consistently involved in some of the most innovative, profile building projects across the country. From the very beginning, the practice has combined City firm standards with an entrepreneurial spirit.

In 2013, Marianne Barker, joined the team, having previously worked at the leading City firms Ashurst and Linklaters, and became partner in 2016. The team expanded with the arrival of James Kon, who joined the practice following a training contract with Mayer Brown International and a further years’ experience with KPMG.

Danny, Marianne and James boast the training and experience of magic circle firms, together with agility and personal client-care, and are there to help clients navigate the myriad of Planning challenges that can often frustrate property development and investment.

The department aims and succeeds to help clients build their businesses –  be they global companies, private developers, or public/private partnerships – and celebrate their successes.

What has been particularly pleasing is that this boutique team have been able to compete with and win work from the major London law firms, and as a result have been recognised as a top tier planning practice in the various legal directories over many years.
