Jamie Solomons

Having completed his training contract at Asserson in 2022, Jamie is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice. 

Jamie specialises in corporate and financial disputes with a special focus on debt enforcement. He leverages his specialist knowledge in banking and finance to provide creative, client focused solutions to his cases. Jamie has worked with both large and small companies and individuals in disputes involving contract law; tort and civil fraud. 

Prior to Asserson, Jamie studied History at the University College of London, where he received a first. He then went on to complete his GDL and LPC at The University of Law, where he received a distinction in both. 

EXAMPLES OF RECENT WORK

• The Student Group Claim: Representing over 5,000 students in group litigation claims against UCL and other UK universities due to disrupted education from Covid-19 and industrial action – in claims collectively  valued at tens of millions of  pounds. 
• Successfully defending a $2 billion Commercial Court action on behalf of high net-worth individual in a litigation involving world-wide freezing orders.
• Acting on an arbitration for a client relating to a claim for a for breach of contract worth $10 Million
