Deborah Tastiel
Deborah specialises in Intellectual Property, Technology and Data Protection, and holds an Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification. She is experienced in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing various commercial agreements, including manufacturing agreements, partnership agreements, customer agreements, EULAs, SaaS agreements and NDAs. Deborah has been working effectively as in-house legal counsel for several clients, including a UK Big Four consultancy firm, and regularly advises and supports tech start-ups with commercial agreements and funding.
Deborah is originally from Brussels, Belgium. She studied for a law degree and then an LLM in International Business Law at Queen Mary University of London where she specialised in Intellectual Property. She completed the LPC with a high-level Distinction and trained as a solicitor at a specialist Intellectual Property and Technology English firm based in Barcelona before completing her training with Asserson’s Dispute Resolution team. Deborah qualified in March 2019, and became a senior associate at Asserson in January 2023.
Deborah is native in French and English, fluent in Spanish and currently improving her Hebrew. She enjoys travelling, painting, and cooking.
