Asserson recruits up to four new trainees to its training programme each year.
The firm gives preference to candidates who have completed an internship. We seek candidates with a strong academic record, excellent interpersonal skills and an alignment with the values of our firm. All trainees are expected to complete their SQE 1 exam before beginning their training contract.
During a Trainee’s rotation of four seats of six months each, they are actively involved in client work from the outset. During your training period you will typically spend time with the Dispute Resolution, Property, Business Law, and Finance teams, with a view to identifying the department you would like to qualify into.
Our trainees are awarded a grant to pay towards the cost of their courses and exams. Outstanding trainees are offered places within the firm upon qualification. Applications for 2024 and beyond are now open.
