David J Haffner

David joined Asserson as a Consultant in 2021 having come to our attention through his vast experience in the Charedi client sector and his “out of the box” commercial advice. David became a Partner, and later the Head of Real Estate, in 2023.

David specialises in Real Estate but has substantial additional experience in Property Litigation, Development and Funding agreements as well as general commercial work.

Having graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with an LLB (Hons), David was an equity Partner for 14 years at Lopian Wagner and  for 17 years at Kuit Steinart Levy LLP, a leading UK 200 listed commercial law firm.

David lives in Manchester. He can speak Yiddish and his interests include fast classic cars, Holocaust history and PG Wodehouse.
