Constance Rubin

Constance joined Asserson’s Business Law team in January 2026 as an Associate, specialising in Employment Law.

Before joining Asserson, Constance trained and qualified at Winckworth Sherwood. She has experience in advising employer clients across the full range of employment law matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes, dismissals, managing sickness absence, restructures and redundancies, TUPE, and the drafting of contracts of employment and HR policies. She also has experience defending employment tribunal claims, as well as negotiating and drafting settlement and COT3 agreements, and resolving disputes at an early stage through Acas early conciliation.

Constance studied Politics and Parliamentary Studies at the University of Leeds, graduating with a First-Class degree. She completed her LLM at BPP University and the LPC at The University of Law, achieving a Merit and a Distinction respectively.

Outside of work, Constance is a qualified yoga teacher and holds WSET Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in wine. She also has first-hand experience of UK politics, having stood for local election and participated in multiple UK election campaigns.
