Jonathan Greenwood

Jonathan joined Asserson’s Real Estate Department in April 2026 as a Consultant.

He was formerly the senior partner at Greenwood & Co, a firm he founded in 1982. Jonathan practised from the firm’s Holborn offices in London until 2026, when Greenwood & Co merged with Asserson.

Jonathan has extensive experience in litigation and across all areas of property law, including landlord and tenant matters, large‑scale acquisitions, sales, leasing and compulsory purchase. He has acted in numerous litigation cases at all levels, many of which have been reported.

He is regarded as a highly commercial solicitor, advising both longstanding and new clients on all aspects of their property matters and related litigation.

Jonathan is a graduate of the London School of Economics and lives in London.
