Lee Menachemi

Lee joined Asserson’sDispute Resolution team in 2025 as an Associate.

Before joining Asserson, Lee began her articles of clerkship at Clyde & Co in Johannesburg in 2020, where she was involved in general litigation, and specialised in insurance litigation, coverage advice, subrogated defences and recovery work, as well as other insurance-related and general legal matters.

Lee holds an LLB degree at the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. In 2019, she completed an LLM (Masters) degree in International Commercial Law. Lee graduated with honours – Cum Laude at the University, while acting as senior tutor for the final-year module of Law of Negotiable Instruments and Banking Law. She was admitted as an attorney in South Africa in 2022.

In her free time, Lee enjoys boxing.
