Milena Armene

Milena joined Asserson’s Dispute Resolution team in 2026 as an Associate, based in Manchester.

Prior to joining Asserson, Milena worked on some of the most complex cases featured in The Lawyer Top 20 in the UK, including serving as part of the core team advising the defendant in Vneshprombank v Bedzhamov. After relocating to the North West, she continued to work on high-value matters involving intricate fraud allegations, financial regulatory investigations, and tax litigation in the civil courts.

Milena completed her undergraduate studies in Ireland, graduating at the top of her class with a First Class Honours degree. She is bilingual and speaks both English and Romanian fluently.

In her spare time, Milena enjoys going to the gym, spending time outdoors, and playing volleyball. She recently obtained her Volleyball England referee certification and regularly coaches under-18 girls at a local volleyball club.
