Toby Cohen

Toby joined Asserson’s Business Law Group in February 2026 as an Associate.

Before joining Asserson, Toby trained in the London office of a leading U.S. law firm. As an associate at an international law firm in London, he advised on cross border reorganisations for multinational companies, with experience across jurisdictions in the Middle East and Asia. Toby is a corporate lawyer with experience advising on M&A transactions and reorganisations, as well as equity and debt financings.

He graduated from the University of Bristol with an LLB in 2019, following a year at Sciences Po in Paris. He completed the LPC in 2020 with Distinction.

In his spare time, Toby enjoys rugby union and snooker. He also speaks fluent French and has basic knowledge of Russian.
