Zachary Gordon-Boyd

Zac joined Asserson in 2023 as an associate in the Business Law team. Zac is the first participant of the Asserson Associate Programme.

Before joining Asserson, Zac trained and qualified at Ashurst. He worked in the projects department and was involved in advising a range of clients predominantly within the energy and infrastructure sector in relation to project development, M&A, project finance and general commercial contracts.

Zac studied International Business at the University of Leeds. Following his graduation, Zac completed the GDL and LPC MSc, and gained a distinction in both.

As part of the Asserson Associate Programme, Zac will be living in Tel Aviv.

• Acted for the Seller in relation to the $1.665 billion sale of UK energy assets to a private equity fund
• Acted for a Fortune 500 company in the analysis of its commercial contracts in relation to the potential sale of its UK subsidiary
• Acted for a private equity fund focused on renewable investments across the UK in relation to various investments
• Acted for the funder group in connection with financing of higher education facilities in Ireland
• Acted for a UK fund in connection with the financing of UK based PPP assets
• Acted for an energy company in relation to the development and financing of gas peaker plants at various sites across the UK
• Acted for the UK government in relation to a major infrastructure project in the UK
